Santa Maria School of Avià
On 2016, RMT INSULATION participated in the works of the townhall of Avià (Berguedà, Barcelona) for the insulation of the Santa Maria School in the same town.
Around 1000m2 were insulated using fireproof cotton and the company Biomarc was in charge of the installation.
TO Solar Decathlon Europe ’19
Solar Decathlon is a competition, which challenges student teams to design and build innovative, high-efficiency buildings powered by renewable energy.
RMT ISOLATION has participated as a sponsor throughout different years, providing its insulation of different formats as a thermal and acoustic barrier in the buildings created by students from different educational centers in Barcelona.
WOODEN CLASS BY GUILLEM CATÀ
Manufacture of a self-sustaining wooden classroom. Designed and manufactured in the same educational center in “L’Aula de Fusta Guillem Catà” 2018/19.
RMT ISOLATION has participated with the isolation of cotton in bulk as a collaborator, in the construction of L’Aula de Fusta.
The students of “l’aula de fusta Guillem Catà” in Manresa, have used our insulation as the first thermal and acoustic earth barrier as an insulator for the east and west façade of the Module.

Nature Classroom of the Falgar Park
Located in the town of Les Franqueses del Vallès, this is an interpretation center of the environment, with educational and didactic activities, explaining the water cycle and the flora and fauna of the Falgar Park, as well as the recovery of the Congost and the Besòs basin, sustainable construction, the municipality and the peasantry.
RMT Isolation has been present in the development of this space, providing its bulk cotton product to insulate the roof.
IES la Vall del Tenes
RMT ISOLATION has participated again with Barnasfalt, in this case in a construction project of four new classrooms in the high school IES la Vall del Tenes, in Santa Eulàlia de Ronçana, providing its bulk product to insulate the walls and the roof, as well as the means for its installation using its own machinery (NITA CAR).
100×100 Biopassiva – CASA SOPHIA
It is a company located in Madrid dedicated to the construction and commercialization of passive wood buildings.
RMT Isolation has participated in the CASA SOPHIA project, providing its wool wick as insulation for door and window frames, replacing less ecological materials.
Solar Decathlon Europe 21/22
In this edition of the competition held in Wuppertal (Germany), the Azalea group of the Polytechnic University of Valencia participated with its Escalà project, a house inspired by the Valencian neighborhood of El Cabanyal.
RMT ISOLATION has collaborated in the project providing different products such as bulk cotton, cotton panels, as thermal and acoustic insulation, used in the filling of wooden modules, which are part of the structure of the building.
ENERGIEHAUS ARCHITECTS
Energie Haus is an entity dedicated to the design and certification of low-energy buildings, following Passivhaus standards.
In the middle of 2021, RMT ISOLATION will collaborate with ENERGIE HAUS in a project of development of passive houses, providing insulation products, such as wool coil and cotton panels, for the renovation of a building on Passeig General Bassols in Barcelona.
